Rockwall, TX (April 12, 2025) – Megan Pospisil is our next Stingerette Senior Spotlight. She is the daughter of Amanda and Dennis Pospisil. Megan is a two-year member of the team, currently serving as Outreach Representative for the 2024–2025 year.
Megan was named the 2024 Rockwall High School Homecoming Queen and earned the Star Dancer Award this year. Megan has also been nominated for Highest GPA on the team and received the RISD Trustee Award in 2024. She performed at the 2024 Disney Imagination Campus Performance Workshop in Florida and was a member of the 2024 ADTS Best of the Best National Champion Team.
During her time as a JV member, Megan served as Social Committee Chair and was part of the 2022–2023 ADTS National Champion JV Team. She also earned the Jacket Babe of the Week and Cutest in Uniform awards in 2022.
Aside from drill team, Megan is also a PALS (Peer Assistance and Leadership) student from 2023–2025 and a member of both National Honor Society and Student Council from 2022–2025. She received the Student Council 100+ Points Award for her consistent commitment. In 2023, Megan was the Junior Homecoming Princess and recipient of the Spirit Stick Award, Positive Polly Award, and Highest GPA on the team.
Megan has been a member of the National Charity League, Texas Pearl Chapter, since 2019. She has held several leadership positions including NCL President (2021), Icebreaker Chair (2022), Vice President of Philanthropy (2023), and Parliamentarian (2024). Her volunteer service has been recognized with the Yellow Rosebud and Mother-Daughter Service Awards.
Ranked in the top 7% of the 2025 senior class, Megan plans to attend Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in Business at Mays Business School. She later plans to attend law school to fulfill her dream of becoming a lawyer.
