Rockwall, TX (May 22, 2025) – Every year the Rock Wall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) give out “Youth Leadership” awards to one 6th grader in each elementary school and one 8th grader in the middle schools in Rockwall County. This year DAR included 5th graders moving to the middle school next year. The award is chosen by the faculty and staff of the respective schools based on honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism. Every winner receives a medal & certificate from the DAR.
