While President she was instrumental in:

  • Increasing the number of business and individual memberships.
  • Implementation of new business membership categories to encourage larger contributions.
  • Implementation of an annual program recognizing local school librarians during School Librarians Week.
  • Updating the Friends website.
  • The Friends’ office and storage areas were purged of old files, configured more efficiently, and updated to meet current requirements.

Dr. Terry’s energy, enthusiasm, support of Friends, and love of the library make her the perfect recipient for this prestigious award.
