Bristol, PA (May 13, 2025) – Washington Crossing Foundation announced the 2025 scholarship winners for high school seniors planning careers in government service. Local student, Keaton Steen, a senior at Rockwall-Heath High School received the Gregory Czura, Esq. Memorial Scholarship. He is actively involved with his school community and encourages his peers in academics and extra-curricular activities. Keaton is the son of Dustin and Stephanie Steen.

Scholarships were established in 1970 and continue in honor of the late Ann Hawkes Hutton, Founding Chairman of the Washington Crossing Foundation. This year the Foundation awarded $89,000 in scholarships bringing the current total amount awarded to $2,193,500. The prestigious scholarships are awarded annually to patriotic high school seniors dedicated to serving their school, their community and their country. This is exemplified by General Washington and his men in their heroic Crossing of the Delaware on Christmas night 1776.
Awards were presented by previous scholarship winners Gerald Papazian, CA, Gerald Shepherd, NY and Steven Jackson, FL, all Foundation Trustees. Many returning scholars were in attendance at the awards ceremony in Pennsylvania. Veterans were honored at the event and a specialty cake was cut by Ronald Rinaldi of NJ.
