Rockwall High School Senior Cheer Spotlight: Peyton Smith

Rockwall, TX (May 6, 2025) – Peyton is a senior at Rockwall High School and a member of the RHS cheer team. She is a two-time NCA All-American Cheerleader. Peyton recently received a prestigious NCA Staff Invitation Award to join the NCA staff after graduation.

Since 7th grade Peyton has been a part of the RISD cheer program and has competed on numerous UIL and NCA competition teams. While on the RHS cheer team Peyton has been awarded the Best Jumps award and served as the JV head cheerleader.

Outside of cheerleading, Peyton was a member of the competitive dance team at Fantasia Dance and Arts. She is active in the Best Buddies club and is involved in her church youth group, where she served as the president of her class. Peyton has attended 4 years of early morning Bible study each day before cheer practice. Peyton participated in a humanitarian project in Guatemala, this summer, where she helped build a preschool for underserved children.
