McLendon-Chisholm, TX (June 18, 2025) – The City of McLendon-Chisholm is responding to a sewer main break that occurred along FM 550, northeast of City Hall. City crews have been actively working to assess and manage the situation.
At the time of reporting, initial reports indicate that the break would not require overnight repair work on Tuesday, June 17. However, the situation is being closely monitored to ensure public safety and minimal disruption to city services.
Following a full site inspection, RCH and Highpoint official have confirmed there is no impact to the water supply for residents in the affected area. Water services remain safe and operational. TCEQ has alos been notified as well as Rockwall County.
McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department is managing traffic on FM 550 to ensure the safety of workers. Please exercise caution driving in this area.
