Rockwall celebrates Independence Day with fun, food, music, & fireworks

Rockwall, TX (June 30, 2025) – One of Rockwall’s favorite community traditions is right around the corner! Our Independence Day Celebration is set for Friday, July 4, 2025 and promises a full day of patriotic fun for the whole family.

Start the day at the Independence Day Parade:

The day kicks off with our Downtown Parade from 11 AM to 12 PM, featuring festive floats, community groups, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

The parade runs from Wilkerson Stadium to Dobbs Elementary so find a spot along the route and enjoy all the entertainment and patriotic displays.

Then, join us in the evening at Harry Myers Park for:

·    Food Trucks: 5 PM – 9:30 PM

·    Parachute Jumpers: Around 6:45 PM

·    Live Music by Big as Texas: 7 PM – 9 PM

·    Fireworks Show: At dusk around 9 PM

Mark your calendars and bring your chairs, blankets, and Independence Day pride.

Parking & Trolley Info:

Skip the hassle and park downtown to ride the FREE trolley to Harry Myers Park!

·    Trolley runs from 5 PM to 10:30 PM

·    Pick-up/drop-off every 40 minutes

·    Free parking and pick up spot available near downtown at The Center, 108 E Washington St

·    Parking for a $5 fee available at Harry Myers Park, 945 E Washington St

Please Note: No personal fireworks or sparklers are allowed in the park.
