Rockwall native Jarred Coleman nominated for Emmy Award

ROCKWALL, TX (June 6, 2025) — Jarred Coleman, a proud Rockwall native and graduate of Rockwall High School in 2007, has been nominated for a prestigious Emmy Award® for his work as director and co-creator of On The Air with Sully and Little Tommy, a weekly television show airing on KUSI and FOX5 in San Diego.

This is Coleman’s second major Emmy nod—he previously won the award in 2021 for Best Director. Known for his crisp production style and seamless live execution, Coleman has built a reputation for elevating San Diego’s local television with nationally recognized quality. Recent guests on the show include Alicia Gwynn, Star 94.1’s Jesse and Tati, and Chris Shiflett of the Foo Fighters, among other regional and national stars.

“I’m proud to represent both San Diego and my hometown of Rockwall,” said Coleman. “Saturday Night Live was always the pinnacle of television for me growing up, so there are definitely some familiar elements that have made it into the show over the last 5+ years.”

The Emmy nomination highlights Coleman as a standout figure in television, blending entertainment, music, and heartfelt storytelling.  Jarred previously won Anthem Awards in 2022 and 2023 for Live Event Productions and Webby Nominations in 2021 for Online Productions.  The Emmy Awards Gala will take place in San Diego on June 21st.
