The annual installation welcomed the new board and celebrated the conclusion of a highly successful year. The transition, which marked the club’s 85th year of “Service Above Self”, was held at Rotary Hall and attended by fellow Rotarians, guests, and community supporters.

Highlighting the Year in Review

The event kicked off with Nielsen expressing her gratitude to the 2024/2025 board, who helped make her “job exceptionally easy this year” recording a successful and impactful year of accomplishments.

Reflecting on the past year, Nielsen spoke of strengthened partnerships with the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary, Royse City Rotary Club, and Rotary Foundation in addition to their continued service and support of great organizations, North Texas Food Bank, Shoes for Kids, and Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County, amongst others. Always known for shining the spotlight on those who serve our community, the Club once again held a First Responders awards ceremony in appreciation for fostering a safe and healthy community.

Nielsen added recognition of two very generous members who donated to the Endowment Fund – John & Janie Curtis and Tom Norris.

With all the success of the past year, Nielsen gave credit to the Rotarians themselves, who truly “put service above self in every action,” adding how honored she is to have served as president amongst those who have made Rockwall Noon Rotary what it is today.
