ROCKWALL, TX (July 28, 2025) — Join Soroptimist International of Rockwall for a glamorous evening featuring casino-style fun at their 6th annual Black & White Casino Night fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM at the beautiful Boyd Farm in Lavon, Texas. This highly anticipated fundraising event promises a fun-filled evening of entertainment, all in support of Soroptimist’s mission to empower women and girls through education and community programs.
Guests will be treated to a lively night of casino games, music, dining, and live & silent auctions. The evening kicks off with a complimentary glass of prosecco, followed by a buffet dinner by the legendary Eddie Deen Catering and music to set the tone for the night. Each ticket includes casino chips for playing Texas Hold’em, Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette, and one prize ticket for a chance to win one of 20 themed prize baskets, each valued at $75 or more.
Casino chips earned during the evening can be exchanged for additional prize tickets, giving guests even more chances to win these sought-after baskets. In addition, attendees can bid on a variety of items during the silent and live auctions, featuring high-value donations from local businesses.
Guests are encouraged to dress to impress by rocking their best black and white ensemble – with a touch of Boots or Bling, in keeping with this year’s stylish twist.
“All proceeds from Casino Night will directly benefit the work of Soroptimist International of Rockwall,” said Danna Taylor, event chair. “Funds raised will support our local high school scholarship programs, as well as our signature Live Your Dream program, which provides education grants to women overcoming adversity.”
