Honoring the legacy of Ben Parks while empowering youth through golf
ROCKWALL, TX (August 25, 2025) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas is proud to announce the 9th Annual Ben Parks Golf Classic Fore Kids, set to take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Rockwall. This signature fundraising event brings the community together for a memorable day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back—all in honor of the remarkable life and legacy of Ben Parks.
The Ben Parks Golf Classic is a 4-man scramble that pays tribute to Ben Parks, a beloved figure in the Rockwall community whose passion for golf and mentorship left a lasting mark on countless young lives. Through the sport, Ben taught the values of patience, perseverance, and character—principles that continue to align with the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas to build great futures for local youth.
Since its inaugural year in 2017, the event has raised vital funds to support the Ben Parks First Tee Program and the Rockwall County Clubs, ensuring that young people have access to opportunities that foster growth, education, and personal development.
“We are proud to honor Ben’s legacy each year through this tournament,” said Jenny Krueger, CEO. “It’s more than just a day of golf—it’s a celebration of community, mentorship, and creating brighter futures for the next generation.”
Participants can register a team or sponsor a hole to support this impactful cause. Proceeds from the event directly benefit programs that inspire and equip youth in Rockwall County with the tools they need to succeed in life.
