Rockwall, TX (August 20, 2025) – Rockwall’s Wellness for Life® Host Committee is honored to invite you to be part of our 4th annual fundraiser, a powerful effort to meet some of the most critical health needs in our community.
Hop On & Have a Sip: On September 18 at 4:00 p.m., join us at First United Methodist Church (1200 E Yellow Jacket Lane) for light refreshments and a tour of the Wellness for Life Mobile Health Unit.
This year, we are aiming to raise additional funding to expand mobile health services right here in Rockwall. Proceeds from the event will directly support the Mobile Health Unit’s work in Rockwall, delivering services such as:
- Mammograms and cervical cancer screenings
- Colon cancer tests
- Blood work to detect diabetes and high blood pressure
Leigh Plagens, beloved member of the Rockwall community, experienced firsthand the life‑saving impact of a routine mammogram during a Women’s Imaging Center tour, and that screening led to her early breast cancer diagnosis. Now, she’s paying it forward by serving as a Wellness for Life® Ambassador for Rockwall.
