ROCKWALL, TX (August 4, 2025) – For the tenth consecutive year, the Rockwall School of Music (RSM) has been voted “Best Music Studio/Music Lessons” by the local community—solidifying its legacy as a cornerstone of music education in the region.
Founded with a mission to inspire a lifelong love of music, the school now serves over 900 students in private lessons for piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, bass, and ukulele. Its reputation is built not only on musical excellence, but on a warm, welcoming environment where students of all ages thrive.
To mark this milestone, the school will host a “Come & Go Celebration” for students, families, and Rockwall residents. Guests are invited to drop in for a free gift, a tour of the state-of-the-art facility and to have all their questions answered regarding how music can benefit their family.
“This isn’t just a win for our school—it’s a celebration of the entire Rockwall community that supports music and the arts,” says Russ Porter, director of RSM. “We want to say thank you to every family who has walked through our doors, and to every student who chose to make music with us.”
During the month of August, all are welcome to attend this event during these prime time hours: Monday – Friday between 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM; Saturdays between 9:00 AM – Noon and Sundays between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
