Rockwall County Community Resource Festival set for Oct. 9

Rockwall County (September 16, 2025) – The Rockwall County Library will once again host the Rockwall County Community Resource Festival on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families are invited to enjoy an evening filled with fun activities while connecting with local nonprofits, organizations, and community groups.

The event is designed to showcase the many resources available throughout Rockwall County, giving families the chance to explore programs and services all in one place. It also provides a unique opportunity for local organizations to meet, network, and discover new ways to collaborate.

Festival highlights will include crafts, hands-on science activities from the Perot Museum, a petting zoo, and appearances by the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse and their horses.

“This event is a testament to our community’s spirit of collaboration, as it brings together all our county’s non-profit groups, organizations, and departments to share resources with our community members,” said Friends of the Library representative Carrie Pickell.

The event is free and open to the public.
