  • The eastbound I-30 on-ramp from Erby Campbell Blvd. will close beginning 9 p.m. Friday, Sep. 19 through late 2026.
  • East and westbound I-30 will temporarily narrow to one lane between FM 551 and Erby Campbell Blvd. from 9 p.m. Friday, Sep. 19 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sep. 20 as part on the ongoing project. Drivers will need to be aware of the new traffic pattern set after the closure and plan extra travel time as traffic adjusts.

As progress continues, check drivetexas.org for daily lane closures. Any major scheduled closures will be announced in advance, and there is an option to sign up for text alerts.

As a part of the $348 million I-30 corridor expansion project, crews will widen I-30 and add continuous frontage roads from SH 205 to the Hunt County Line. The work is part of TxDOT’s Texas Clear Lanes effort to relieve congestion in major metropolitan areas.
