Rockwall County, TX (October 1, 2025) – Jennifer Fogg has officially announced her reelection campaign as Rockwall County Clerk in the upcoming 2026 election. Fogg was appointed to the position in December 2020 and elected by the citizens in November 2022. With 16 years of dedicated service in the Rockwall County Clerk’s Office, she has established a reputation for integrity, innovation, and a strong commitment to serving the public.
It has been the greatest honor of my career to serve the people of Rockwall County as your County Clerk. I am seeking reelection to continue building on the progress we’ve made by enhancing services, protecting records, and ensuring my office remains one of the most efficient and citizen-focused in the state.
A Record of Results
Since taking office, Clerk Fogg has implemented numerous initiatives to improve service delivery, security, and public engagement. Her accomplishments include:
• Launching a Land and Vitals kiosk to increase convenience for citizens.
• Introducing multiple marriage license designs and securing official recognition of Rockwall County as the Marriage Capital of Texas until 2035.
• Leading legislative efforts, including numerous trips to Austin to testify on important issues impacting county clerks and citizens statewide.
• Expanding community outreach programs, such as the Property Fraud Alert system, “Thank a Veteran” initiative, and partnerships with local businesses, realtors, and veterans’ organizations.
• Hosting employee security awareness workshops, continuing education opportunities, and recognition for birthdays, and service achievements.
• Implementing critical software upgrades for Land & Vitals and Commissioner’s Court.
• Spearheading preservation projects to safeguard Land & Vital records for future generations.
• Serving in key leadership roles, including Secretary for the County and District Clerks Association of Texas (CDCAT), Chair of the CDCAT Legislative Committee, member of the CDCAT Education Committee, and member of the CDCAT County Clerk Procedure Manual Rewrite Committee.
• Co-hosting (with the District Clerk) the 2024 CDCAT Summer Conference in Rockwall, showcasing the community.
Community Ties
Beyond the office, Fogg and her husband have actively participated in volunteer opportunities and local events, including Lemonade Day, holiday parades, Toys for Tots, Boys & Girls Club, Bikes for Tykes, and numerous local galas and luncheons. She is a member of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, Royse City Chamber of Commerce. Former Rockwall County Republican Women’s Club PAC Treasurer and Former Vice President of the Urban Recorders Alliance.
A Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Fogg plans to continue streamlining operations, strengthening legislative advocacy for county clerks, and investing in technology to keep pace with Rockwall County’s growth.
Our county is growing, and our office must grow with it. I will continue to ensure our residents receive exceptional service, our records remain protected, and our operations are transparent, efficient, and accountable.
Fogg and her husband, Chad, have lived in Rockwall for more than 22 years and are proud parents to a college-aged son. In her spare time, she enjoys landscaping and binge-watching true crime shows, and spending time with her three dogs.
