All Republican voters are invited to attend the Rally on Saturday, November 1, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., in Liberty Hall of the County Courthouse, 1121 E. Yellowjacket, Rockwall. The Texas Red Rally for candidates in July was such a huge success that organizers are again anticipating a full-house at Liberty Hall! Voters are encouraged to arrive early in order to find their seats.
Candidates for Texas Attorney General, Texas Agriculture Commissioner and Texas Comptroller will bring their visions for the jobs they seek and take questions as the schedule allows, before they spend at their campaign tables to visit individually with attendees.
Rockwall County Republican County Chair Sharon Henson and Lone Star Coalition Board members Tillie Perkins and Ray Myers will welcome guests and speakers. The Rev. Michael Vinson of St. Benedict’s Anglican Church will lead the prayer and Fate Mayor Andrew Greenberg will lead the pledges.
Texas Attorney General candidates coming to Rockwall are Aaron Reitz, Senator Mayes Middleton and Senator Joan Huffman. Candidates for Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Nathan Sheets and incumbent Sid Miller will each talk about their plans for that job. The Honorable Don Huffines will present his conservative goals for the position he seeks as Texas Comptroller.
