HEATH, TX (December 5, 2025) – JETSET Pilates, the fast-growing modern Reformer Pilates franchise offering premium, full-body workouts, is proud to announce the opening of its first luxury studio in Heath. Located at 453 Laurence Dr., the studio is owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Christy and Justin Wheat, who also reside in Heath. Preview classes are set to begin December 1, followed by a grand opening celebration on December 13 from 1 – 3 PM, featuring local vendors, food and drinks, a photographer to capture the event, and more.
Christy and Justin combine professional expertise with personal passion for wellness. Christy, formerly an Assistant VP of Operations at AT&T, currently serves as VP of Operations for a telecom startup. Justin, a Texas native and former professional BMX racer inducted into the Texas BMX Hall of Fame, holds an undergraduate degree in exercise Kinesiology, attended medical school, and spent over 15 years in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry. Together, the couple has a shared mission to foster wellness and community through their new business.
“This is an exciting new chapter for us, both personally and professionally,” said Christy Wheat. “Heath has been craving more boutique wellness options, and we knew JETSET would fill that gap. We wanted to create a place where people of all experience levels feel supported, confident, and excited to show up for themselves. Our hope is that this studio becomes a meaningful part of people’s daily lives.”
The Heath studio is the Wheats’ first JETSET Pilates location, with plans to open 3 – 4 additional studios in North Texas, including a future location they hope to bring to Rockwall. Their goal is to introduce an elevated Pilates experience to Heath and cultivate a space that prioritizes strength, connection, and community.
The 2,500-square-foot studio features 16 custom reformers and offers 50-minute high-end classes that combine strength, cardio, and Pilates-inspired movements set to DJ-curated music. The studio anticipates creating 20 local jobs, contributing to the growth of the Heath community.
