State Rep. Katrina Pierson announces run for re-election

Rockwall, TX (December 8, 2025) – Texas State House Representative Katrina Pierson announced she will be running for re-election in Texas House District 33.

Pierson commented, “It’s been the honor of my life to serve the people of House District 33. After much prayer and consideration, I am proud to announce my run for re-election to the State House and continue the fight for conservative values.”

Rep. Pierson was first elected in 2024 and served her first legislative session earlier this year. During her first session, Rep. Pierson introduced and co-authored legislation for property tax reduction, healthcare reform, protecting the Second Amendment, and more.

“I’ve been humbled by how many Texans asked me to return to the Texas House to continue fighting for the conservative policies we need to pass in 2027. When I step back onto the House floor next session, I will work to advance our conservative agenda. Texas needs people who are willing to boldly face these challenges and deliver results.”
