Visit Rockwall transitions to City of Rockwall

Rockwall, TX (January 6, 2026) – The City of Rockwall is pleased to announce that Visit Rockwall, the official Convention and Visitors Bureau for the Rockwall area, has officially transitioned to the City of Rockwall, bringing the organization more closely in line with City operations and long-term strategic planning efforts. Visit Rockwall was previously housed within the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce.

As part of this transition, the City welcomes Jodi Willard, Tourism Manager, who will continue in her role under the City of Rockwall. Willard has been with Visit Rockwall for the past 2.5 years and brings more than six years of prior experience from the Conroe Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with a strong background in destination marketing and tourism development.

Visit Rockwall will continue its core mission of promoting the city, supporting local hospitality partners, and driving tourism-related revenue. This transition strengthens collaboration across City departments while reinforcing the City’s ongoing commitment to tourism and economic development. This transition creates new opportunities to better align marketing, events, and tourism initiatives with the City’s broader goals. The City of Rockwall remains committed to showcasing all that makes our community special and to positioning Rockwall as a vibrant, welcoming, and competitive destination in North Texas.
