Rockwall ISD district leader selected to serve on National ACTE Board of Directors

Rockwall, TX (February 3, 2026) – Rockwall Independent School District is proud to announce that Alison Belliveau, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Executive Director and Principal at the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), the nation’s largest organization dedicated to advancing career and technical education.

Belliveau was selected by ACTE’s membership of approximately 30,000 educators, administrators, and CTE professionals nationwide to serve as Administration Division Vice President-Elect. She will begin a one-year shadow term in July 2026, followed by a three-year term as vice president beginning in July 2027.

Rockwall ISD congratulates Mrs. Belliveau on this significant achievement and thanks ACTE for its continued commitment to strengthening career and technical education across the country.
