Allen Robbins announces run for Fate City Council Place 3

Conservative former council member highlights growth, strong services, and community priorities

Fate, TX (March 17, 2026) — Allen Robbins is running for Fate City Council, Place 3. He is focused on keeping the city strong, growing the local economy, and ensuring a low tax rate alongside efficient, responsive city services. Robbins’ campaign is about restoring respect and civility at City Hall, continuing commercial and retail growth, and keeping Fate a safe, thriving place for residents and businesses.

“Experience matters,” Robbins said. “I know how to get things done and keep the focus on what really matters for our residents and businesses. Enough with the divisiveness and chaos—it’s time to get back to good governance, respect, and decorum at City Hall.”

Robbins has served Fate in many roles, starting on the Planning and Zoning Commission and later being elected to City Council for two terms. He has also served as Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Mayor Pro Tem, and on boards such as the Fate Development Corporation, Municipal Development District, and the Rockwall County Open Space and Road Consortiums.

Over the years, Robbins has worked closely with county and state leaders, as well as local school districts, to ensure Fate grows in a smart, sustainable way. He has been hands-on in attracting and supporting both large and small businesses that now call Fate home, while also helping improve the community—backing the dedication of Mayor Joe Burger Park, leading the Fate Community Center renovation, building the downtown park alongside the Fate Food Haul, advocating for a fire station on the south side of Fate, expanding police and fire services, and supporting many road and utility infrastructure projects.

Robbins’ leadership has always been servant-minded, helping residents during the winter storm, maintaining city services through COVID-19, and hosting town halls, community meetings, and one-on-one conversations to listen, educate, and assist residents. Robbins emphasized, “Making the time to talk with people is how you build trust. Listen to them—it’s not hard. We may not always agree, but I will always respond to residents.”

During his time on council, Robbins has kept Fate fiscally strong by adopting conservative budgets focused on public safety and infrastructure and growing sales tax revenue from $459K to nearly $5.1 million. He has also focused on regional growth, working with the county and TxDOT to create a regional economic engine along I-30 and developing downtown Fate as a community-based economic hub.

“I have always believed that we do not serve for the next election, but for the next generation,” Robbins said. “Fate truly brought us here.”

The Fate City Council election will be held May 2, 2026, with early voting from April 20–28, 2026, through Rockwall County Elections. For more information, visit www.AllenForFate.com or email AllenForFate@gmail.com.
