Rockwall County to host Town Hall on the updated Thoroughfare Plan

Rockwall County, TX (March 13, 2026) – Rockwall County has partnered with Freese and Nichols, Inc., an engineering and planning firm, to update its Thoroughfare Plan to prepare for continued growth and evolving transportation needs. This long-range plan will help guide future roadway connections, preserve needed corridors, and support safe and efficient travel across the County. This update builds on the County’s Strategic Plan 2050 and the previously adopted 2019 Thoroughfare Plan, incorporating current data, community input, and regional coordination.
