ROCKWALL, TX (March 23, 2026) — Shake Shack is bringing its signature burgers, fries, and shakes to Rockwall with the opening of a new location on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 a.m. The restaurant will be located at 568 E Interstate 30, in the former Taco Cabana space, and marks the brand’s 30th Shack in Texas and its sixth drive-thru location in the state.
The Rockwall Shack will offer both in-restaurant dining and a convenient drive-thru experience. The drive-thru will feature a digital menu board and a one-lane ordering system designed for efficiency and ease.
Guests can expect the full Shake Shack menu, including favorites like the ShackBurger®, Crinkle Cut fries, and hand-spun shakes, along with limited-time offerings throughout the year.
Operating hours for the new location will be 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Opening Day—Wednesday, April 1
To celebrate opening day on April 1, the first wave of guests will receive custom Shake Shack Texas tumbler cups while supplies last. As part of its Stand for Something Good® mission, Shake Shack will also give back to the local community by donating $1 for every sandwich sold that day at the Rockwall location to Helping Hands of Rockwall County, supporting their efforts to ensure no one in the community goes without food, shelter, or needed medical care.
The new Rockwall Shack adds to the growing dining options in the area and introduces Shake Shack’s popular drive-thru format to local residents and visitors alike.
