Rowlett Lions Club Donates Nearly $46,000 to Local Charities, Scholarships and Community Programs

ROWLETT, TX (July 2, 2026) — The Rowlett Lions Club is celebrating another year of service, announcing a total of $45,920 in charitable donations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.

The funds benefited a variety of organizations and initiatives that serve the Rowlett community and beyond, including the Texas Lions Camp for Children with Disabilities, the Lions Sight & Tissue Foundation, the Rowlett Needy Children’s Fund, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Rowlett, the First Christian Church of Rowlett Hope in Hand Food Pantry, and scholarships for Rowlett High School students.

“We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our members and the community,” club leaders said. “Their generosity allows us to identify needs and provide meaningful assistance to those we serve.”

Founded in 1966, the Rowlett Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club organization, with approximately 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries and geographic areas. Guided by the motto, “We Serve,” the club remains committed to improving lives through volunteer service and charitable giving.
