Broadway Dallas is excited to present the hit musical, HAMILTON written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, May 8-June 9 at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.
Hamilton is the mesmerizing tale of founding father, Alexander Hamilton, from his arrival to America and as he rises through history. His story, one of a quest for honor and love, not only shaped his personal legacy but the course of our nation with the writing of the US Constitution. In addition to the protagonist, notable characters include King George, Aaron Burr, and Eliza, whom Alexander Hamilton later marries.
Miranda’s production opened on Broadway in 2015 to critical acclaim, winning 11 Tony Awards, Grammy Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and was recognized by the Kennedy Center Honors. The musical score features iconic showstopping songs with a combination of styles including hip-hop, jazz, and blues.
Hamilton takes the stage at the majestic Winspear Opera House. This is a highly anticipated touring production therefore tickets may sell out. Make your plans early if you want to see what has become one of Broadway’s most beloved productions.
