Rockwall, TX (October 11, 2024) – The Mobile Food Pantry from North Texas Food Bank in partnership with Catholic Charities of Dallas will make it’s monthly distribution to Rockwall on Tuesday, October 15. The pantry offers fresh fruit, vegetables and assorted food items to those in and around the Rockwall area.
September’s food pantry served 202 families – which is one of the record months! With the success of the Rockwall pantry, a 2nd monthly food pantry will begin in November taking place on the 3rd Saturday of the month. This means starting in November the Mobile Food Pantry will arrive in Rockwall twice a month – the 3rd Tuesday and Saturday! The Saturday food pantry will run from 11:15am-2:30pm
The regular Tuesday food pantry will be located at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at 1305 Damascus Road, Rockwall between the hours of 9:00am-11:00am.
Other individuals are allowed to pick up food for family members, friends, or neighbors. Please bring the first and last name, mobile food number, email contact information, mailing address, and date of birth along with the number of children, adults, and senior citizens who reside in the household of need.
