Rockwall County Library presents: Sugar Plum Fairy and Tin Soldier Ball

Rockwall County (November 22, 2024) – Every holiday season, The Rockwall County Library presents a special event for our wonderful community and this year is no exception! So, get ready to have a ball at the library.

The Rockwall County Library 2024 holiday program is a literal Ball!

The Sugar Plum Fairy and Tin Soldier Ball, to be exact.

Imagine, if you will, your princesses and princes, and valiant knights (and all their parents) dressed in their most frilly and fanciful attire, waltzing to the harmonious sounds of a string trio from the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Everyone will whirl and twirl in a fairy tale setting similar to the fantasy of the “Nutcracker” that includes a Sugar Plum Fairy Ballerina.

There will also be a buffet of delectable and fancy sweets to taste in our version of the Land of Sweets.

We are going for Cinderella, PG Bridgerton, or Pride & Prejudice ball vibes! No worries if you don’t have a tux, suit, prom dress, or twirly princess dress.  Just dress up if you like or come as you are and dance with us.

Can’t dance, no problem!  We will have a waltz instructor on hand from 6:00-7:00 to give you pointers.

The Rockwall County Library transforms the large meeting room into the Sugar Plum Fairy and Tin Soldier Ball on Tuesday, December 10th from 6:00p.m. – 7:30p.m. for this amazing holiday celebration.
