Rowlett Lions Club donates $10,000 to support Kerrville flood relief efforts

Rowlett, TX (July 8, 2025) – In response to the devastating floods that have severely impacted the Kerrville community and surrounding areas, the Rowlett Lions Club has taken decisive action to support relief efforts in partnership with Kerrville Host Lions Club Foundation. The Club’s leadership recognizes the urgent needs facing families, business owners, and first responders as they begin the long road to recovery and unanimously approved a donation of $10,000.00 to the Kerrville Host Lions Club Foundation to aid in relief and recovery efforts.

This generous donation was made possible through the collective dedication of club members, who swiftly mobilized resources to address the immediate aftermath of the disaster. Working in close coordination with their counterparts in Kerrville, the Rowlett Lions have demonstrated the true spirit of service by extending both financial and moral support. Their action reflects the Rowlett Lions Club’s core values of responsiveness and unity, setting a powerful example for civic organizations statewide. This contribution is a testament to the enduring commitment of the Rowlett Lions Club to serve communities in crisis, and it underscores the strong bonds that unite Lions Clubs throughout the state.
