City of Rockwall hosting Parks & Open Space Town Hall and Visioning Workshop

Rockwall, TX (July 9, 2025) – The City of Rockwall is inviting residents to share their voice and vision for the future of parks, trails, and recreational spaces at a community-wide Parks & Open Space Town Hall and Visioning Workshop. The event will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM at The Center, located at 108 E. Washington Street, Rockwall, TX 75087.

This interactive workshop is part of the City’s effort to update its Parks and Open Space Master Plan consisting of future improvements, recreational programs, trail development, and open space preservation. Community input is essential to ensure the plan reflects the values and priorities of citizens.

The evening will include a welcome and Master Plan overview, group discussions, and interactive visioning stations. A special “Kidz Zone” will also be available, giving young residents the opportunity to design their dream park and contribute their ideas in a creative and fun way.
