Rockwall ISD rises to 89 in State Accountability, high schools earn top marks

Rockwall, TX (August 15, 2025) – Rockwall ISD earned an 89 accountability rating for the 2024-2025 school year from the Texas Education Agency — an improvement of two points over last year’s rating and a true reflection of the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and parent partnerships.

We are proud to congratulate Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School for each earning an A rating — a remarkable accomplishment for 6A campuses — while also successfully opening their Ninth Grade Campuses.

This achievement comes in the third year of the state’s updated STAAR Accountability system and during a year of significant growth, as enrollment increased by approximately 400 new students. Together, we embody our convocation theme, We Are Rockwall ISD, proving that through collaboration, partnership, and a shared commitment to excellence, we can achieve great things.
