Rockwall County, TX (September 2, 2025) – The events of September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten in the minds of those who lived through that tragic day – and the days of anguish that followed. Whether you were a witness in person or through a screen at home, the office, or at school, this day remains a profound experience mixing courage and fear. Through our grief, we were reminded to never forget.
Rockwall County will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11 at the Rockwall County Courthouse. Join with us from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. to honor all those lost that day. All are welcome, especially as we strive to pass on the knowledge of that day and keep the spirit alive of those brave and unknowing individuals who sacrificed that day.
