Rockwall, TX (September 25, 2025) – It was more than designer purses and celebration at the Bubbles & Bags event held Sept. 13 at Southfork Ranch — it was about standing together to protect children. Nearly 750 supporters filled the room, raising both funds and awareness for the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.
From first responders strutting handbags to spirited rounds of bingo, the evening was filled with laughter and fun. But beneath the sparkle was a serious message: one in five children are at risk for abuse, and only one in ten cases are ever reported. The CAC is critically underfunded, and events like Bubbles & Bags provide vital support to sustain its mission.
The CAC partners with law enforcement, DFPS, REACH Clinic, the Sexual Assault Response Team, and the District Attorney’s office to ensure children’s safety, justice, and healing come first.
