Pastor Cheryl Remchuk was appointed to Hope Global Methodist Church in September
Rockwall, TX (October 28, 2025) – Recently, Hope Global Methodist Church welcomed a new pastor as they bid a fond farewell to founding pastor, Dr. Stanley Scott, who retired after many years of service to the Methodist ministry and as a Marine chaplain.
Pastor Cheryl Remchuk, and her husband, joined the church following a move from South Carolina to be closer to their family – two daughters, four grandchildren, four great grands, and two fur babies. Upon their relocation to Texas it turned out that Hope GMC was seeking a new pastor and God’s plan came together!
“My passion is to see people know the hope that we have in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to live in His ways,” said Pastor Remchuk. “My life is a living testimony of His transforming power and I love to share what He has so graciously done for me with those who ask!”
Hebrews 4:12 says, “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.”
Pastor Remchuk and her family look forward to being a part of the vibrant community of Rockwall in sharing the Good News of hope as together we continue to build His kingdom.
Hope Global Methodist Church invites everyone to join them beginning at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and donuts with worship following at 10:00 a.m. Hope Global Methodist Church gathers at “Perfect Landing Event Center” located at 1505 Airport Road in Rockwall.
