Rockwall, TX (November 18, 2025) – Rockwall ISD proudly continues its tradition of strong financial leadership, earning a top “Superior” rating – the highest rating available – on the 2024–2025 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report. This achievement marks the 23rd straight year the District has received such distinguished recognition.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) evaluates each district based on a series of indicators that measure financial management practices and stability. For 2024–2025, Rockwall ISD earned an outstanding score of 98, just two points shy of a perfect score.
