Winter Weather Update for Rockwall Residents: Delayed Trash and Recycle Collection

Rockwall, TX (January 26, 2026) – Republic Services will not be running on Tuesday due to side road, parking lot, and alleyway conditions. Also Garland landfill is not opening on Tuesday.

The following is an action plan to get everyone’s trash and recycling serviced by close of business Saturday.

Trash collection will be as follows:

·    Monday and Tuesday households will be collected on Wednesday

·    Wednesday and Thursday households will be collected on Thursday

·    Friday households will be on the normal schedule

Recycle collection will be as follows:

·    Monday households will be collected on Wednesday

·    Tuesday households will be collected on Thursday

·    Wednesday and Thursday households will be collected on Friday

·    Friday households will be collected on Saturday

Republic Services will not be servicing brush and bulk this week.

Please note that if your trash or recycling is not picked on the collection schedule as listed above, leave it out and it will be collected. If Republic runs behind on a day and has a section or area remaining they will start at that point on the following morning.
