Rockwall, TX (February 12, 2026) – Ava Northcutt is a senior at Rockwall High School and has been part of the Rockwall ISD Cheer program since the 7th grade. She has distinguished herself as a three-time All-American, received the NCA Individual Leadership Award, and earned an invitation to join the NCA Staff upon graduation. Throughout her high school career, Ava has competed on multiple UIL and NCA teams, holds several state championship titles, and recently concluded her cheer career by winning the 2026 NCA National Championship in the Varsity Small Game Day Division.
Her commitment and hard work have been recognized with numerous honors, including 4.0 Club, Most Community Service Hours, Best Motions, Best Main Base, Highest Score at Tryouts, and the Excellence Award. Ava has demonstrated exceptional leadership, serving as captain for three of her four years and currently as Varsity Spirit Captain. This year, she proudly represented Rockwall Cheer as Cheer Sweetheart.
Outside of cheer, Ava is a member of the National Honor Society, PALs, and the Texas Pearl Chapter of the National Charity League, where she enjoys volunteering her time. She will receive the Presidential Service Award this spring for completing over 100 hours of community service during the 2025–2026 school year.
After graduation, Ava will attend Oklahoma State University, where she has been accepted into the Honors College. She plans to major in Sports Marketing while continuing to pursue opportunities that combine her passion for athletics, leadership, and teamwork.
