The Bucket Ministry Restructures Leadership Team for Stronger Future Impact

ROCKWALL, TX (June 2, 2026) — The Bucket Ministry, a non-profit organization sharing God’s love through the gift of clean, safe, drinking water, today announced Chris Muckleroy will step into the role of CEO as current Founder and Chief Storyteller. Christopher Beth assumes the responsibility of President.

Together, Muckleroy and Beth will work to strengthen the global efforts and impact of The Bucket Ministry to ensure every individual has access to clean water and the Gospel.

“What the Lord has built through the faithfulness of Christopher Beth and this team is remarkable,” said Muckleroy. “Countless lives have been changed by a simple gift of a water filter and Jesus. I’m honored by the opportunity to steward The Bucket Ministry well and strengthen it for even greater impact in the future.”

Beth’s vision for The Bucket Ministry came after accompanying his then-teenage daughter on a mission trip to the Brazilian Amazon in 2012. During the trip, Beth witnessed how a lack of clean water severely impacted individuals and communities. Determined to create a solution, he founded The Bucket Ministry in 2015. Under Beth’s leadership, to date, The Bucket Ministry has provided over 1 million individuals across three continents with generational access to clean water and seen more than 30,000 individuals make decisions to follow Jesus.

Assuming the role of President allows Beth to continue to act as Chief Storyteller to tell the story of lives changed by the work of The Bucket Ministry missionaries around the world while allowing Muckleroy to oversee the day-to-day finance and operations.

“It has been a privilege for more than a decade to watch lives transform through clean water and the hope of the Gospel,” said Beth. “Stepping into this new role allows me to do what I love most, which is to continue to tell the stories behind our work and invite even more people to join us in our mission. With Chris’ expertise, I have no doubt this is only the beginning of The Bucket Ministry’s best chapter.”

Muckleroy’s expertise marries both business and ministry. He worked in tax and corporate finance for 13 years before being called to serve in full-time vocational ministry. He began serving as Executive Pastor of Finance and Administration at Cross City Church in Euless, Texas in 2019. His responsibilities included finance, operations and leading several capital campaigns. Additionally, Muckleroy oversaw missions, which led him to discover The Bucket Ministry.

Muckleroy traveled with Beth to Belize in 2022, where he personally saw the life-changing impact of The Bucket Ministry’s work. The trip was the first of many that would come over the following years, and the catalyst for Muckleroy’s passion to lead efforts in this new role of CEO.

Muckleroy is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, where he met his wife Emily. They currently live in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with their three wonderful children: Cole (17), Caroline (14) and Olivia (11).
