(ROCKWALL, TX — May 10, 2016) Rockwall Soroptimist, Cindy Lindley, was installed as the South Central Region Governor at the SC Region Conference, held last week in Joplin, MO. Cindy will preside over Soroptimist clubs in seven states for the next two years. She has been a Rockwall Soroptimist since 1997 and has held most of the club offices, several more than once.
Cindy was one of the creators of the club’s STARS project , where quarterly themed luncheons and gift cards are provided to the residents of Reese Manor 5 times a year. Her hard work, energy, dedication and passion are some of the reasons she was voted Soroptimist of the Year by club members three different times. Cindy currently serves on the Board of Directors for Soroptimist House, PAWS, and the Child Advocacy Center.
