Congressman Ratcliffe welcomes residents at Open House event

(ROCKWALL, TX – Aug. 23, 2016) A sizeable crowd of residents packed the Rockwall District Office of John Ratcliffe during an Open House event hosted by the Congressman on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Residents were invited to come shake hands and hold one-on-one candid discussions with Rep. Ratcliffe concerning issues facing our country and its government.

“I was extremely pleased with the great turnout we had at my open house in Rockwall. I’d like to thank everyone who made it out,” Ratcliffe said. “I greatly appreciated the thoughtful conversations I had with people who genuinely care about the direction of our country. This high level of civic engagement certainly strengthens my ability to represent Texas’ 4th District well in Congress, and I’m joining forces with my conservative colleagues in the House of Representatives to ensure our government is working for you, not the other way around.”

Rep. Ratcliffe will be hosting a live broadcast tonight on his Facebook page, facebook.com/RepRatcliffe/, at 8:30 pm to delve into the issues he’s discussed with constituents during his open houses and other visits throughout the district, as well as lay out House Republicans’ plan to address those concerns.
