(ROCKWALL, TX — Nov. 2, 2016) During the month of October, The Flower Box staff asked people in our community to nominate a woman in their lives who has been an inspiration and impacted their lives in special ways. Each week, a deserving woman was chosen from the pool of nominees as Harvest Queen and presented with royal gifts from The Flower Box.
Four lovely Harvest Queens – each planting seeds of hope, encouragement, love, joy, and inspiration in her own unique way were honored along with the person who nominated them at a Royal Brunch held Tuesday, Nov. 1 at The Flower Box.
Nominated by Linda Smith, Harvest Queen Julie Durst, was represented at the brunch by Julie’s mom, Mary Harrison, sister-in-law, Lynn Purmal, friends June McMillan, Melissa Gray, Carmen Villa, Kim Card, and Kathleen Danahy. Harvest Queen Meredith Reed Fox, nominated by Darlene Reed, and Harvest Queen Shirley Womack, nominated by Becky Pool, enjoyed the brunch and festivities. Harvest Queen Amy Lutes, nominated by Jessica Applegate were unable to attend.
Flower Box staff members Lela Yarbrough, Tammy Bradley, Marianne Rose, Maria Aguado, Christi Hernandez and Ann Cain were honored to welcome and serve this outstanding group of Harvest Queens and their friends and family.
