Rockwall Rotary recognizes Student of Honor from Springer Elementary

Rockwall County Judge David Sweet, Springer Elementary Principal Sara Reeves and Student of Honor Luis Rico

(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 2, 2017) The Rockwall Rotary Club recognized the Student of Honor from Ouida Springer Elementary School today during its luncheon program. Sixth grader Luis Rico was presented the award by Springer Principal Sara Reeves, who spoke to Luis’s tremendous work ethic, willingness to help others and leadership.

“It was very easy for the teachers when I asked them to select a student, he came to mind immediately,” Reeves said. “He’s a very hard worker and has been very successful in his Pre AP Math class. He’s a team player and is very quick to help his teachers and fellow students. The choice was easy, he’s quite a leader at Springer!”
