Union Valley Academy celebrates new location with ribbon cutting

The Royse City Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Jan. 20 for Union Valley Academy, a private, nonprofit school that provides a one-of-a-kind learning environment for students in grades 7-12.

Union Valley Academy is newly relocated on the campus of Union Valley Church of Christ, 9424 FM 35 in Union Valley. That’s three miles south of Royse City on Farm to Market Road 35.

The school’s mission is “to nurture, guide and support adolescents as they become accomplished, independent learners prepared for advanced academic pursuits and professional success.”

Stop by for a tour. Say hello to the students and faculty:

Dr. Joe Vaughn, Ed. D, Dean Humanities

Wendy Walker, Head of School, Math and Sciences

Chris Carr, M.A. – Instructional Technology

David Lusk, M.A. – Humanities
