Live from Frisco: ‘Can We Talk’ launches June 20

(Frisco) June 19, 2013 – There’s a new show in town, and it’s all about area Moms. “Can We Talk,” a new live talk show, makes its debut this week and will host a  launch party to announce its arrival at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 20, with a reception to follow at its studio located inside Frisco Discovery Center/Black Box Theater, after the first taping.

The taping schedule is June 20 from 6 to 7 p.m., and June 24, 25, 26, and 27 from 6 to 9 p.m.

“Can We Talk’s Executive Producer is Pamela Brown-Matthis and it is co-produced by Eva Coleman and LaDonna Castro, LaDoMedia. Sponsors include Anderson’s Furniture, Style House, Frisco Discovery Center, Frisco Arts, Sci Tech Discovery Center, Educational Presenters Network, Diversity IQ, and Faces by Marisa and LaDoMedia.

The mission of the show is to provide a forum to energize, inspire and support the personal growth, life achievement and internal fulfillment of women. Can We Talk brings a fresh, up close and personal view of moms, mommypreneurs and career women, offering a unique experience and a forum where the “Everyday Woman” can discuss the issues that are important to today’s woman. The show will feature an hour of live interviews, demonstrations, celebrity features, fashion shows and book signings, and celebrity guest interviews. The show will also provide a unique experience in an environment where women will network, meet special guests, participate in activities, and sample products and services.

The talk show is produced and hosted by a dynamic cast of co-hosts:

Pamela Brown-Matthis is the Executive Producer and lead host of Can We Talk- TV. She is the founder of Educators Presenters Network K-12 Speaker’s Bureau, a master certified trainer, educator, author, marriage ministry leader and talk show host. She and her husband, the love of her life, are the proud parents of three beautiful children. Pamela and her husband are excited to announce their soon to be released book, Diversity IQ-Connecting Teachers to Students, which will be released in the fall of 2013.

Marla Ravkind is a 30-something new mother with a Master’s in Business that in her pre-baby life rendered confidence and understanding about the ups and downs of life…her career. She is now happily settled in Lake Highlands with a wonderful husband, rambunctious two year old boy, new born baby girl and her favorite four legged rescue, Rocco.

Stacia Gowens is a career loving mother of two teenage children and the loving wife to a terrific husband. With most of her career spent in the health care sector – she is living the “your body is your temple” scripture to its fullest as a Marketing Director for a health care group purchasing organization and as a certified personal trainer. 

Priscilla Morales is a small town girl loving the energy and endless opportunities that city life seems to offer.  Most days she can be found at Baylor University Medical Center where she works as a Registered Dietitian.  In the evenings, she and her sister blog about reigning women!
