ROCKWALL, TX (April 10, 2014) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Lakeside AMBUCS.
National AMBUCS™, Inc. is a non-profit service organization consisting of a diverse group of men and women who are dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities. They started a Lakeside chapter that covers the entire east and they are working with local ISD’s and businesses to raise awareness and the need for these Tryke’s.
Members fulfill our organization’s mission by:
•Performing various forms of community service
•Providing AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles to individuals unable to operate a traditional bike
•Awarding scholarships to therapists
