ROCKWALL, TX (May 23, 2014) Carry The Load’s National Relay Team left West Point New York on April 29 for a 2000 mile trek across the country. The Team will come through Rockwall on the way to Dallas Sunday, May 25th at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The mission of Carry The Load is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day and strives to connect Americans to the sacrifices of our military, law enforcement, firefighters, rescue personnel, and their families. Carry The Load provides an interactive way for Americans to remember, honor and celebrate Memorial Day in dedication to these heroes.
The estimated time of arrival of the relay walkers is at 3:30 am (early Sunday morning). There will be a rally at the Veterans Memorial adjacent to the Rockwall County Courthouse. All citizens are invited to participate.
