Rockwall Breakfast Rotary inducts new president

ROCKWALL, TX (June 30, 2014) The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club is very happy to announce that Nancy Runge was sworn in on June 23 as their incoming president. Nancy is the Supervisor of District Office Services with Farmer’s Electric Cooperative and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.

A year as the president of The Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club is very significant to the club as well as the community. Nancy will oversee programs this year that will encourage high school students in leadership roles, provide scholarships for high school students, help elementary age children with the “Coats for Kids” annual project, assist in the RISD Teacher of the Year award, provide manpower for the City of Rockwall in the completion of public work/beautification projects and work with the membership to raise dollars for other endeavors that benefit Rockwall.

Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting and see the excitement and commitment of this service organization toward the community of Rockwall. Their enthusiasm is contagious and you just might want to become a member yourself. They meet at 7 am each Tuesday morning, 408 South Goliad.

For more information contact, Nancy Runge at 903-269-0357.
