Cub Scout Pack 386 helps fill food pantry shelves

Cub Scouts from Pack 386 pose with the gold cart used by the Heath Salon and Spa to collect food donations for the Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry.

ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (Feb. 18, 2015) Circle Ten Council’s Cub Scout Pack 386 recently participated in “Scouting for Food,” an annual food pantry drive sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America.

Pack 386 joined with Heath Salon and Spa to collect donations for the Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry.   Heath Salon and Spa brought out their gold shopping cart and collected food items to give to Pack 386 for the food drive.

Members of the Rush Creek Yacht Club also generously donated items to Pack 386 for the food drive.  The pack collectively gathered and then donated over 650 food items to the Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry.

Cub Scout Pack 386 includes approximately 45 boys in the first to fifth grades and is based in Heath, Texas.  The First United Methodist Church of Heath is the charter organization for Pack 386.
