Justin Holland files as candidate for Texas House District 33

(ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – Nov. 20, 2015) Conservative businessman Justin Holland filed official paperwork today in his bid to become the next member of the Texas House of Representatives. House District 33 includes all of Rockwall County and portions of Collin County.

Earlier this year, Holland announced his intention to run following Representative Scott Turner’s announcement that he would not seek re-election for the seat.

Justin Holland is a 6th generation Texan and the co-owner of a successful, family-owned residential real estate firm, Regal Realtors.  He is a graduate of Rockwall High School. Justin is a strong conservative and expects solid support among conservatives in the Republican primary.

“I hope to provide the next generation of Texans with strong conservative leadership,” says Holland. “I am running for State Representative to ensure that Texas remains an example of prosperity and opportunity. It’s important that traditional faith and family values continue to be represented in Austin.”

A three-term Heath City Council member and former two-time Mayor Pro-Tem, Holland’s aggressive and conservative leadership style resulted in improving the City’s bond rating, creating good jobs and protecting neighborhoods.

Holland has been endorsed by the Rockwall Police Officers Association and the Heath Police and Fire Association. Heath City Council Members Joe Chamberlain, Richard Krause, Mayor Pro Tem Brian Berry, former Fate Council Member John Stacy and RISD Trustees Leigh Plagens and Jim White have also backed Holland in the race – as well as a long and impressive list of business and community backers. Texas State Representative Four Price of Amarillo is also supporting Justin in his bid.

Justin and his wife Neely have been married for seven years and have two young daughters. They are active members of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
