(ROCKWALL, TX – May 27, 2016) Once again the grounds of the Rockwall County Courthouse, at the corner of I30 and T.L. Townsend Dr., will be the site of the 3rd annual Rockwall Country Fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4.
This year’s fair has something fun for everyone, with free admission, continuous live music, old-fashioned carnival games sponsored by local non-profits and Kid Zone rides including a petting zoo, train, mechanical bull, zip line, and much more.
The Car, Truck and Bike Show will be judged by Misfit Garage TV celebrities, Fired Up Garage! A variety of music from country to blues will be live all day and will be kicked off by our first Rockwall Idol winner, Angie Landers!
The Kid Zone is a best buy for your family entertainment dollar with a $10 Ride All Day pass. Come hungry as there is mighty fine eating from turkey legs to corn dogs, German tacos to kettlecorn, fresh squeezed lemonade to snow cones and cotton candy, and of course ice cold beer and wine to go with your favorite fair food. Shoppers can browse the many vendors for clothing or jewelry, whirly-gigs to whatchamacallits.
This is good old-fashioned fun at a good old-fashioned fair. You don’t have to boot up and download…you have to show up and slow down…relax and have a great time with family and friends at the Rockwall Soroptimist Country Fair.
Proceeds will support the ongoing projects of the Rockwall Soroptimist to help women and children and especially the new Advocacy Center at the Soroptimist House. Check out www.rockwallcountryfair.com for all the details and a list of our generous sponsors especially Young Hyundai of Rockwall and Allegiance Title. Bring your own chair, hat and sunglasses and …Get Ready, Get Set, GO to the Fair!
